ART TLV 09 OPENING SEPTEMBER 9!
Art TLV 09, the international art biennial coinciding with Tel Aviv-Yafo’s centennial celebrations, runs September 9-24, featuring exhibitions, installations, performances, screenings and talks throughout the city with leading contemporary Israeli and international artists. Following the success of the inaugural Art TLV 08, the biennial now aligns with the Athens and Istanbul biennials to foster exchange within a Mediterranean cultural triangle.
Curated by Edna Moshenson, Maayan Sheleff, Michael Kessus Gedalyovich and Said Abu Shakra, Art TLV explores visual, performative, and sonic representations of the Modern City. The festival takes place in the neighborhoods of Neve Tzedek, Florentin, and Jaffa, including a series of outdoor exhibitions throughout the city. Auxiliary exhibitions and open houses will take place at the Tel Aviv Museum's Helena Rubinstein Pavilion, The Israel Museum's Mani House, and throughout Tel Aviv's galleries and artist studios.

Artis will bring our fourth group of arts professionals to Israel on the occasion of Art TLV - we look forward to sharing documentation and reviews with you when we return.
